What to wear to your engagement session.

Figuring out what to wear to your engagement session can sometimes be a daunting task. I am always asked for suggestion on what to wear in pictures and my answer is always the same, keep it simple but elegant! I live in Franklin, TN and the weather here is unpredictable, specially during summer, so I will always ask my clients to look great but also be comfortable. Because of that, I decided to compile a short list of what I think will be best to wear during your engagement session! Take a look at it and once you have finished reading click HERE to book your session!

1. Why Neutrals Work So Well

• Soft, earthy tones create a timeless and elegant feel.

• They photograph beautifully in both natural light and edited tones.

• Neutrals keep the focus on you and the emotion, not the outfit.

4. Pairing Suggestions

Couples: Coordinate but don’t match. Mix textures and tones within the same palette.

Families: Choose 2-3 base tones and have everyone blend into those shades.

Solo: Long dresses, jumpsuits, and layered pieces always shine.

5. Quick Don’ts

• No bright/neon colors

• Avoid super busy patterns

• Skip trendy pieces that date quickly

Coming to America was new to me and I had to learn everything new. I found photography at the age of 16 and have not stopped taking photos since then. When an opportunity came about to help shoot a wedding I was hooked, experiencing the act of commitment to love and documenting it became so important to me that I made it into my job. It has been now 6 years since my first wedding and I cannot wait for more!

I am a storyteller, so I document weddings as such. Every wedding is a love story, you begin a new chapter and I am honored to be part of it by capturing genuine moments to last a lifetime. Ever since I started, I haven’t looked back and I am so grateful to all the couples that have trusted me to tell their love stories.

Real love is raw and full of emotion, I aim to capture that in every shot I take. There are big and little moments and so much in between. This day is a memory you want to hold forever and I provide a service to help you have that, I cannot wait to tell your story and I cannot wait to help you remember it. Photos are forever, they will live long after you’re gone and your family will also have a chance to live your love story for generations to come.
